Madhavapuri Welfare Association(MWA) has taken up a traffic safety initiative especially on High Tension road to regulate on Thursdays and Festival Holidays In deference to the wishes of MWA, Kushaiguda Police are making necessary arrangements for Police patrolling.
By and large Malkajgiri Commissionerate under the dynamic leadership of Commissioner B. Sumathi is making every effort to make this a safe and smart habitation. Earlier commissionerate came up with a innovative idea of Helmet Bank. Wherein Two-Wheeler drivers were given a loan of Helmet and asked them to return after purchasing a new one. This Commissionerate consists of many private companies and residential colonies. Recently Commissioner also conducted Sanskar Mega Counselling to eve-teasing , staking, cyber crimes and public nuisance accused.
The MWA Committee members visited the Deputy Commissioner of Police – Road Safety Office, near Rachakonda Commissionerate, and briefed the concerned officials about the day-to-day entry and exit problems being faced by colony residents. MWA submitted a formal representation, with proposal for solution.
Meanwhile , Citizens are advised to be alert and take a note of traffic fines.
