SHRADDHANJALI
Perhaps he is the most photographed person of our mana Madhavapuri and perhaps the most visible face too. No gathering, no event and no celebration in the colony will be complete without his gentle presence. Today as his mortal remains were consigned to the elements, I could not stop myself from writing this tribute. To a man who lived simply, spoke at length the quintessential teacher in him showing up occasionally and yet erudite by turns. And quite eager to know the progress and development of the colony he stood by in thick and thin, contributing every bit of his energies to laying the foundation to development of colony along with his close friends in colony, likes of who were Shri Seshaiah garu, Shri DSP garu, Shri Mohan Rao garu, Shri Ramlal garu and many others back then some 30 years ago. Maybe more.
Shri Nageswara Rao garu’s immense contribution in the sphere of education as the Principal and the Director of Warangal Public School guiding and mentoring a whole generation of students and teachers is by no means modest. His passionate contribution in his later years to the welfare of Senior Citizens and his noble intent of providing generic medicines at very low cost through his initiative Jeevan Dhara’ all tell the story of a man who never stood still watching the age tick by or watching the sunset in his life. Active, agile and razor sharp in his mind, he lived a full life of nine decades. And today, he actually lay down quietly watching the sun set in his life. Truly inspiring a legacy, Shri Nageswra Rao garu that you left behind.
